Welsh Terrier
( Added:Thu Oct 16 2003)
|
| Welsh terriers are very loyal family companions with high energy levels. They are not as
enthusiastic about strangers and will bark to announce their arrival.
They are intelligent and do well in obedience training. Some Welsh terriers are happy to play
with other dogs, while others will take on dogs of all sizes. |

What is a Mixed-Breed Dog?
( Added:Tue Oct 21 2003)
|
| Mixed breeds--frequently referred to as "mongrels" or
"mutts"--are the offspring of parents that are either mixed
breeds or crossbreeds. (Crossbreeds are the offspring of
purebred parents of different breeds, such as an Irish setter
mother and a Labrador retriever father.)

Yorkshire Terrier
( Added:Tue Oct 21 2003)
|
| Yorkshire terriers are energetic, assertive, demanding toy dogs with large-dog attitudes. They
are responsive obedience students but want to rule at home, and even larger dogs will defer
to them. In general, they get along with other animals.
They are fine with gentle children over about eight years old, especially if socialized with
them at an early age. Yorkies bark to announce the arrival of strangers but are usually
friendly. |
