Most discus keepers will one day want to breed there fish. Some will just want one pair and some will want there very own fish house stocked full of discus fish.
No one likes living in a dirty, stuffy house. Thank goodness a
little dirt is not hazardous to our health. The same cannot be
said for our aquatic friends.
Our warm-blooded nature enables our body temperature to adjust
to our environment. Fish and invertebrates are not as
fortunate. The body temperatures of these cold-blooded
creatures are harmonious to their environment.
Did you know that your goldfish can live for over 10 years? Under
the right conditions he can live even longer but most never make
it past the first year!
